Can we talk about Caitlin Mociun's eclectic ring collection? I follow Mociun (prononuced: motion) on Instagram, and every time the Brooklyn-based designer posts a picture of a new ring grouping, like the one above, it stops me in my tracks. The popularity of her jewelry has exploded over the last couple of years, especially her custom rings, which she designs for clients all over the world. If I were getting married, I'd be all over them; I'm actually thinking about purchasing one of her simple gold bands to sub in every now and then for my pave band. I love the simplicity of the one on her pinky (above) and this yellow gold beaded band on her site. Traditional with a twist. There's something for everyone, from diamond engagement rings and simple gold bands to the striking Temple ring (above, middle) which is made of sunstone and moonstone micropave and set with white and black diamonds. Her namesake retail shop at 224 Wythe Avenue in Brooklyn also stocks ceramics, jewelry, rugs, and special occasion gifts. Check her out!
