Can we talk about how genius this collaboration is between San Francisco-based Yield Design House and Social Print Studio? See above ladder. And below bar. Look how pretty! It's like I was playing matchmaker in my sleep, because I woke up and suddenly discovered that what I've been looking for all my life finally exists: A not-so-ugly way to display cards and photos and small art prints. The bar is 24.5" wide with a 12.5" drop; the ladder is 12.5" wide and about 21.5" tall. So, a bit small for displaying holiday cards later in the year, but you could pick and choose your favorites, which I plan on doing to avoid yet another big fat Pinterest mirror wreath fail, where I spend chunks of my days re-taping heavy card stock to the mirror. (Nightmare.)
The bar and ladder are made with nylon cord, copper bars concealing steel wire, and magnets to hold your art in place so you can swap them out easily anytime. It still says "preorder" on Yield's site, but they're officially ready and waiting and they even provide mounting hooks and screws. And they're Made in America, of course!
Plus, a couple more ways to inexpensively frame your art prints and photos.
