AKA "Lazy Man's S'mores," because sometimes you desperately want one, but you don't feel like a whole big to-do with the grill and the skewers. Did you know you can make pretty damn good s'mores in your microwave in under 10 seconds? Last night I discovered the added joy of mixing in some peanut butter because, why not?! It was like this wonderful, melty fluffernuttery peanut butter cup.
One graham cracker halved
A chunk of Hershey's chocolate (for full coverage: 4.5 rectangles, to be precise)
A smear of peanut butter
Nuke the whole thing for 8-10 seconds depending on the strength of your microwave. You really have to look in and see when the marshmallow starts to puff up; as soon as it does, open the door. Let it cool for 20 seconds (or let it burn like I do) and enjoy! It doesn't have that campfire smokiness but it's got all the chocolately-gooiness with the added bonus of pb.
Hope you have a great weekend, guys! Next week it's Brooklyn in the house with two fantastic ladies: One is a maker and one has a curated online retail platform. Can't wait to share their inspiring stories with you.
